Lisa Wallos

Lisa Wallos received her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Psychology and her MS from Bank Street Graduate School in Early Childhood Special Education. For more than 20 years, she has worked for NYS Early Intervention Program as a Special Instructor, ABA Therapist and Family Trainer. She has also served as a specialist for children 3-5 years through the Children Of Pre-School Special Education Program. Lisa utilizes various methodologies, including American Sign Language for non verbal or language delayed children. As an Early Intervention Specialist, she creates programs that are delivered to your baby or child  through play, helping to develop language, cognition, social and play skills, along with functional living skills.

In Lisa’s private practice, she teaches parents how to establish permanent changes in the home to significantly improve happiness and restore peace within a family. Through her work in her private practice as a family trainer, Lisa developed a following among frustrated moms in Westchester and NYC, who experience ongoing exhaustion and burnout, trying to modify their kids’ behavioral issues. Leading with gentleness and compassion, she helps parents quickly shift the dynamics, resulting in better behaved kids, who, as a result,  are happier and more confident.  Lisa is a mother of twin teenage daughters and an adult son; all of whom benefited from Early Intervention.
